The Darach Whisky Co. team have been invited to the Winter Wonderland Ball charity event on 4th December 2021. Hosted by the Emmie Smillie Foundation and JR Group. It will be our honour and privilege to make a donation to this great cause. We will be gifting each guest with an engraved Darach Whisky Glencairn glass, along with a 5cl miniature of our upcoming 13 year old Secret Speyside malt.
The Emmie Smillie charity foundation is a cancer charity based in Glasgow. They focus on raising funds with the generous support from the people and businesses of Glasgow. Funds used to financially assist local Cancer related organisations and to helping hospices and palliative care homes.
The charity formed by the Smillie family on March 2017. Named after the daughter, Emmie Smillie who sadly passed away from a cancer related illness. The family have courageously taken on the task of raising awareness and raising funds to help fight this horrible illness. An illness which has affected so many people and families across the world. It is our honour to gift these miniatures and Glencairn glasses to the 450+ guests that will be attending the ball. All of us at Darach Whisky Co. would like to wish the Emmie Smillie foundation a successful night of fundraising.
